Music: Russian Roulette (Update)

Rihanna. A. Pop Icon? B. Legend? C. Amazing? D. All of the above.

The song is veryvery dark. Her voice suits it very well. & Halloween is a great time for releasing this one too. We're thinking there's some Chris Brown moments in there too(?). Anyway the song is hawt. You've just got to listen to it a few times to really grasp the feel.

Video: Okay, I have to give props to the video even though I'm not in love with Rihanna's new sound. The video is crazy, it shows Rihanna avoiding all thes different ways of dying. She is the new Girl Powah.

Music: Make It Last

"Make It Last" is an RNB/Easy Listening/Pop sing recorded by Tyrese Gibson featuring Jewel. The song was written and meant for the Kiss scene in Transformers 2. Jewel may have went from Alternative to Pop to Country but you can hear Jewel's soul on this one. Very nice. She makes the song which is why we put her photo up instead of Tyrese's.

Definitely worth the $0.99 on iTunes.

Music: Watcha Say

An electropop song by Jason Derulo. It samples the song "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap. Now, I know I have heard this song before. But for some reason it just now seems to be gaining airplay on the radio. This is a very catchy song and it will stick with you throughout the day. Although the only catchy party is Imogen Heap's part, so MAJOR props to her. I've checked out her songs Hide and Seak and will review it too.

Just figured out where I've heard this song before! On a hilarious SNL clip. Watch.

Movies: Saw 6

Saw 6 is the bloodiest, goriest, most gruesome of all the previous Saw movies. With a much higher survival rate and even higher death count, this could makes you feel sick to your stomach.

After Saw 5, I was expecting a bigger more explosive main story line, the story line is really good as usual but in this case, it shows mostly past story lines. Of course the ending was pretty good.

The traps are pretty much the same as the past ones but maybe a little smarter this time around. If you're new to the series, start with Saw 1 defniitely otherwise you'll have no idea what's going on.

Music: 3 (Update)

Britney Spears has a hit on her hands. Catchy, Addictive, Pop-Electronic, Ear Candy. I can't get enough. It's already one of my Top 20 hits of the year. It sounds like a lost song from between her CD's Blackout and Circus. Two of her favorites for me. If I have to compare the song to another Britney one, I would choose "If U Seek Amy". I can't describe it better than... "Like Lady Gaga but more Bubblegum Fun".

The video is very boring just glam shots of Britney in a white room.

Movie: Wrong Turn 3: Left For Dead

Eliza Dushku? No. Automatic points deducted... (joke). At the very beginning, not 5 minutes into the movie, of course some girl bares her chest which just makes you want her to die. The first 3 or 4 kills look SOOO CHEAP. It's just awful. I was thinking this one would be soo terrible.

Oddly enough, it came back to show it was interesting, gutsy and gorey. Everything you could want in a horror movie. The ending that seems to go accordingly with a girl and guy escaping in a car at dawn was torched. I won't give that part away just rent it. Instead of the usual Humans VS Monsters, it's Humans VS Prsoners VS Monsters. Great.

Music: Fireflies

Owl City. Heard of them? Well learn their name because this song is about to get huge. Fireflies is an alternative, electropop song.

Very catchy and charming. Soothing yet you can blast it in the car and show everyone you're having a good time. Similar to acts like John Mayer, & Jewel with a splash of Lady Gaga. ;) Check this one out.

Movie: Paranormal Activity

A mockumentary horror film. This movie goes from cheesy and boring to scary and thrilling! I wasn't giving the movie many positive vibes after hearing all of the negetive feedback about it but "SCARYY AS HELL" comes to mind.

Horror film of the year? The movie shows Katie and Boyfrind Michah being a happy loving couple that live in what they think is a haunted house. When they figure out that Katie is actually being haunted and at times, posessed by a demon. The first part of the movie is pretty boring and you feel like you're watching somebody else's home-movies (kill me?).

After they call a psychic for some help things start getting a little more interesting. I'm not about to give anything away but definitely check this one out!

Movie: The Strangers

Starring Liv Tyler, Scott Speedman and Gemma Ward. The Strangers is a suspense-horror film. It came out in 2008 but I haven't had a chance to watch it since.

The movie starts by showing a couple come home, their arguing and exhausted. When Speedman's character leaves for town a rude girl shows up at the door. Knocking repetedly. She's quite eerie and Tyler's character is smart to be creeped out over her.

This is a classic slasher/scary movie. Scary masks and creepy timing makes this a very suspensful flick. After figuring out people can get in their home they try to escape but of course cell phones have disappeared and the landline has been cut.

The movie is now available on DVD.

Music: In The Moonlight

Dylan on the hit TV show Modern Family made a music video for his hilarious song. The episode was the best of the season and it featured his song "In The Moonlight", a song about his 15 year old girlfriend. If you haven't seen the episode click here. I reccomend watching it and hearing the song. Otherwise if you have seen the episode and want to watch his music video click here. I highly reccomend watching the episode FIRST otherwise you may not completely understand it.

The song is funny, and realistically not a hit at all but hey, I thought I'd give it a review anyway because that episode was just so damn funny. I may even start reviewing TV shows because I've seen some of the new comedies and lots are either hit or miss.

Oh and ABC is letting viewers download the song FREE for a limited time. Click here to download.

Ironic how this song fared better than the movie "Year One" and was meant as a complete joke.

Music: Funhouse

Pink has delivered some pretty big hits in the last couple years... "Sober", "U + Ur Hand", "Please Don't Leave Me", and "So What" to name a few. Her latest "Funhouse" compares in comparison though.

The track is on fire but at points the song is a bit repetetive. Shouting about her marriage and how the whole love thing has turned into one big "Funhouse" full of evil clowns and how she's going to "Burn it down" [divorce him].

The video shows Pink running through a deserted area, where her home once was. Throwing a photo of the happy couple in the sand and skipping along singing the little diddy. She reaches the evil clowns which are quite scary in a mime-china doll kind of way. Very creepy. But the end shows Pink riding off on her motorcycle away from all of her problems... guess we we're just waiting for an explosion of interest. Left me hangin.

2009 Halloween Song goes to Pink's Funhouse. Last year was Rihanna's Disturbia.

Movie: The Proposal

Starring Sandra Bullock (Miss Congeniality), Ryan Reynolds (Adventureland), Betty White (Golden Girls) and Mary Steenburgen (Elf). They all compliment each others acting. Bullock and Reynolds have an on-screen chemistry that just makes this film meaningful, relatable and lovable.

It reminds me of a Julia Roberts flick, starting out not even friends, then ending up madly in love, willing to do anything for the other. What a warm feeling.

Reynold's character, shown as meak, weak, and a pushover at the beginning is the likable character. 20 minutes later you're calling him a dick. But what you have to understand (which they didn't do very well of showing), is that appearently Bullock, plays a bitchy boss that nobody likes but everyone fears.

Betty White-Hilarious ! Wonderful choice for this character. She makes the character lovable yet slightly-dumb at the same time. Given the wrong actress her character could have ended up messy.

The movie is available on DVD now.
